Our Story

Greenbrier - Meadows Course, White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia: A Scenic Golfing Destination

Nestled in the picturesque town of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, the Greenbrier - Meadows Course offers a captivating golfing experience for players of all skill levels. Originally designed by Alexander H. Findlay and opened in 1911 as a 9-hole course, it has undergone several transformations over the years. In 1923, renowned golf course architect Seth Raynor updated the course while working on The Old White TPC and building the original Greenbrier Course. In 1962, architect Dick Wilson expanded Lakeside into an 18-hole layout using soil from the construction of The Bunker. Bob Cupp later redesigned the course in 1999, officially naming it The Meadows.

With a par of 70 and measuring up to 6,564 yards from the gold tees, this Bermuda grass fairway and Bent grass green course offers varying lengths to accommodate different playing styles. Golfers will also appreciate its challenging slope rating of 138 and rating score of 72.
