Carolina Shores opened in 1974. Tall southern pines line the fairways, while dramatic bunkering protect the greens. The course has under gone reconditioning in the past couple of years. Bermuda greens, tees, fairways and roughs give players the ideal playing conditions year round. Golf rounds average 4 hours at Carolina Shores which is faster than many golf courses at the beach.
