Panama Country Club: A Golfing Experience in Lynn Haven, Florida

Panama Country Club, nestled in the heart of Lynn Haven, Florida, boasts an 18-hole golf course designed by the legendary Donald Ross in 1927. This historic course stands as a testament to Ross's design philosophy, with eight holes still reflecting his original vision. The fairways, ranging from narrow to medium in width, meander strategically through the natural surroundings, incorporating water hazards and preserving the delicate ecosystem. Measuring 6,626 yards from the back tees and playing to a par of 72, Panama Country Club presents a challenge that caters to golfers of all skill levels. The small greens, reminiscent of their original construction, play fast and demand precision. Recent resurfacing efforts ensure consistently excellent playing conditions throughout the year. Whether you're a seasoned golfer seeking a stimulating challenge or prefer a leisurely walk amidst scenic views along the Intracoastal Waterway, Panama Country Club promises an unforgettable golfing experience.

Player Reviews: A Mixed Bag of Experiences

Reviews for Panama Country Club in Lynn Haven, Florida, paint a mixed picture. Some golfers express disappointment, citing the impact of Hurricane Michael, which resulted in the loss of many trees, leaving the course with a flat and treeless layout. The pro shop staff's perceived lack of warmth and personality also draws criticism. Others, however, find solace in the course's well-maintained fairways, tee boxes, and greens, praising their fantastic condition despite the hurricane's devastation. Despite these positive aspects, some golfers still question the value for money, considering the course to be overpriced for the overall experience.

Golfer Collectives acknowledges the mixed reviews surrounding Panama Country Club. While the course has undoubtedly suffered from the effects of Hurricane Michael, some golfers still find it an inviting and enjoyable challenge. The consistently excellent condition of the fairways, tee boxes, and greens, despite the hurricane damage, is a testament to the club's commitment to maintaining high standards.

However, Golfer Collectives also recognizes the concerns raised by some golfers regarding the perceived lack of value for money. The course's layout, while challenging, may not offer the unique or memorable experience that some golfers seek. Additionally, the pro shop staff's demeanor and the overall personality of the club may not live up to the expectations of certain players.

Ultimately, the value proposition of Panama Country Club is subjective and depends on individual preferences and expectations. Golfers who prioritize well-maintained conditions and friendly, accommodating staff may find the club worth considering. However, those seeking a more distinctive and memorable golfing experience may find that Panama Country Club falls short of their expectations.

My course is fully booked, why do I need Golfer Collective?

We simply want you to have the systems in place to reduce $0 tee times, even if they are rare for you.

Our platform allows you to create offers that increase demand during times that you need it, even if it's as small of a window as after 2pm on Mondays.

What is considered an expiring tee-time?

From what we've seen, it's the time frame when chances of bookings drop drastically and the expected value of a tee time rapidly approaches $0. For most courses, it's the last 24 hours before a tee time.

24 hours if our default but you're welcome to extend your offer out to meet the needs of your course. For example, a more rural course may want to use 72 hours while a resort near a city may want to use 24 hours

Can my course do this on our own?

Great question and you absolutely can!

It's easy enough to build out an audience of value golfers. From what we've heard from our partner courses, the more difficult and time consuming part is utilizing them without damaging your brand.
