Huge Benefits For Your Course

how Golfer Collective helps remove harmful discounts practices

Understanding that price sensitive golfers are value loyal, not brand loyal

This is the most important part of the process. By understanding that value golfers are a segment with a different mentality, you can start to leverage this powerful demographic for better yields by creating offers specific to them.

Create specific offers for specific goals for specific audiences

This is the hardest step to accept. It goes against your very nature. If you're going to pay for marketing, you want to reach the most people possible, right?

Not anymore.

We want you to reach the right audience with the right offer for the right goal.

Join our network of partner courses for marketing efficiency and effectiveness

Golfer Collective is a collective marketing platform for golf courses to serve up offers, usually focused on expiring tee times, to a ready audience that's focused on value.

Not only is it free to join, but you'll be on your way unlocking your yields and phasing out the harmful discount practices that have plagued the industry for decades.

Designed by renowned architect Paul Loague and established in 1993, this 12-hole public course boasts a par of 72 and spans an impressive 6,755 yards. With multiple tee options, Railside Golf Club caters to golfers of varying abilities, ensuring an enjoyable challenge for everyone. The course's slope rating of 121 and rating of 71.8 provide a fair test for those seeking to hone their skills.

Player Reviews: A Mixed Bag of Experiences

Railside Golf Club has garnered a diverse range of reviews from golfers. Positive feedback highlights the course's well-maintained conditions, thoughtfully designed layout, and friendly staff. One satisfied golfer raved about the "top-notch greens and beautiful fairways," which contributed to an enjoyable round of golf. Another reviewer commended the management's decision to retain some of the course's finest holes during its conversion to a 12-hole layout.

However, not all reviews are glowing. Some golfers expressed disappointment with the course's conditions, citing issues such as poor drainage and neglected bunkers. Others found the layout confusing and challenging to navigate. One particularly disgruntled golfer described their experience as a "nightmare," attributing it to changes in ownership and inadequate maintenance.

Golfer Collective recognizes Railside Golf Club's potential as a valuable golfing destination in Gibson City. While the course has received mixed reviews, there are several factors that contribute to its overall worth. The 12-hole layout offers a unique and challenging experience, and the management's efforts to preserve some of the course's best holes are commendable.

However, it is essential to acknowledge the areas where Railside Golf Club falls short. The course's conditions, particularly the bunkers and drainage, require improvement to enhance the golfing experience. Additionally, the confusing layout and changes in ownership have negatively impacted the perceptions of some golfers.

Despite these shortcomings, Railside Golf Club can still provide an enjoyable round of golf, especially for intermediate-level players seeking an affordable option. The friendly staff adds a positive touch to the overall experience. However, it is crucial for the course to address its maintenance issues and consider player feedback to elevate its reputation and attract a wider range of golfers.

Our platform allows you to create offers that increase demand during times that you need it, even if it's as small of a window as after 2pm on Mondays.

What is considered an expiring tee-time?

From what we've seen, it's the time frame when chances of bookings drop drastically and the expected value of a tee time rapidly approaches $0. For most courses, it's the last 24 hours before a tee time.

24 hours if our default but you're welcome to extend your offer out to meet the needs of your course. For example, a more rural course may want to use 72 hours while a resort near a city may want to use 24 hours

Can my course do this on our own?
