Player Reviews: Mixed Opinions on Ridgewood Golf Club's Experience

Reviews from golfers who have experienced Ridgewood Golf Club in Athens, Tennessee, offer a range of perspectives. Some players have praised the course for its recent improvements, particularly the excellent greens and fairways that are in good shape. They even suggest that the course has the potential to become a hidden gem if the owner continues to invest in enhancing the fairways.

However, not all reviews are positive. Some golfers have expressed dissatisfaction with their experience, citing issues with pin placement on certain greens and comparing the fairways to a goat ranch. The unfriendly demeanor of the staff has also received negative feedback.

Despite these criticisms, one golfer highly recommends Ridgewood Golf Club due to its recent upgrade to hybrid Bermuda greens, which provide true and fast rolling surfaces. While acknowledging that the fairways could still benefit from improvement, this golfer believes that Ridgewood offers the best layout in the area.

Overall, player reviews indicate that Ridgewood Golf Club offers good playing conditions but may need further enhancements in terms of staff friendliness and amenities such as food options.

Golfer Collectives considers Ridgewood Golf Club to offer good value for a round of golf. While some reviewers have pointed out areas for improvement, such as the fairways and staff friendliness, the overall consensus is that Ridgewood provides a quality golfing experience at an affordable price point. The recent upgrade to hybrid Bermuda greens has significantly improved the course's greens, making them true and fast rolling.

Although there is room for further enhancements, particularly in terms of amenities and staff demeanor, Ridgewood Golf Club remains a solid choice for golfers seeking a challenging and enjoyable round of golf in Athens, Tennessee.

My course is fully booked, why do I need Golfer Collective?

Our platform allows you to create offers that increase demand during times that you need it, even if it's as small of a window as after 2pm on Mondays.

What is considered an expiring tee-time?

From what we've seen, it's the time frame when chances of bookings drop drastically and the expected value of a tee time rapidly approaches $0. For most courses, it's the last 24 hours before a tee time.

24 hours if our default but you're welcome to extend your offer out to meet the needs of your course. For example, a more rural course may want to use 72 hours while a resort near a city may want to use 24 hours

Can my course do this on our own?

Great question and you absolutely can!
